In primitivist architectural theories, architecture is meant to recreate a state of aesthetic bliss and even happiness lost with the fall. The model for that architecture is the smelting of simplicity in the crucible of the primitive: less is more, poverty is wealth, innocence is true knowledge, roughness is true sophistication. I would have eaten that apple too. |
