This picture comes from Berthelot and illustrates some of the themes in the earlier pohtogoraphs as well as another: the accumulative backward growth of a house as it is expanded into the back garden to accommodate a growing family. This one is particularly satisfying because of the litte window abutting the entry volume, creating a happy sequence of repeated elements.
