Progress and geometry

Work is an abstract pleasure. The industrialised world is a heavily disciplined world. Its discipline is heavy. It is a world that has given itself to the stringencies of a simple geometry with which production becomes possible on a grand scale. Improvement resides in the refinement of relational and productive geometries. Its improvement is based on the confidence of being the best already and knowing that there is so much left to do. Progress is a delerium. Words such as “professionalism,” and “efficiency” are independent ikons of beauty. They are towers with a great view.
